If you’re earning money consistently as a restaurant reviewer, you need to become familiar with the business end of  this type of work.   Are the prices of meals deductible?  Is your gas or cheap car insurance considered expensable if you drive yourself to restaurants?  Is there any specific type of insurance coverage that you need?  Will you conduct business as a sole proprietor or form a business entity?  How will taxes be reported and calculated on your income?  Granted, these types of questions may not be as interesting as sampling the latest dish, but after all this is your business.
